While we have not received any local reports of Supra interruptions, we are receiving regional reports that there are issues with Supra that may affect essential functions. We wanted to let you know of this information in advance in case issues arise locally.

LSAR MLS policies and procedures require that participants who list properties in the MLS make a unilateral offer of cooperation and compensation to other participants that bring a buyer and are the procuring cause of the sale. Each participant may independently determine what compensation they offer, and that amount includes offering $0.00.”

On February 15, 2024, the Lake Superior Area REALTORS®, Inc. Board of Directors voted to enter a three-year contract with Paragon/ICE (formerly known as Black Knight). Our association and Paragon have been partners for decades and we are very confident in the direction of the Paragon MLS System as it moves into the future with “Paragon Connect.”

In addition to current MLS offerings and Paragon Connect, all LSAR’s MLS users will soon have three new features as part of your MLS experience:

Advanced Photo Tagging:

All our users will soon have access to this feature from Retsb.ai that will be integrated into the Paragon Experience. This feature uses artificial intelligence to examine uploaded residential property photos and populate the photo label field with RESO standardized labels (ex. Exterior, bathroom, kitchen, etc.). The feature will provide a significant time savings and provide enhanced data for our users, who will have the chance to verify the data before publishing a listing.

Listing Ad – Powered by Zeta:

Listing Ads is a robust, affordable, and completely automated lead-generation solution that gets agents’ listings in front of the right buyers at the right time. Its simple, easy and effective. How it works:

  • Artificial intelligence and internet tracking tools ID potential buyers looking for similar homes in your listing’s location
  • An ad is generated for your listing including the primary property photo and property details pulled from Paragon®
  • Your ad displays to targeted buyers directly on their Facebook® and Instagram® pages*
  • When potential buyers click, they go to your personalized CollabLink page that contains a lead generation form.

New leads are automatically added as contacts in Paragon.

 

Paragon Connect Native Application

 

Our users have been asking for this for a while. Our users will soon have access to Paragon in a full native mobile application. Gone will be the days of a differing MLS experience dependent if you are on a desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone. This will allow both our users and their customers/clients to use the mobile application to facilitate a positive real estate experience.

 

These improvements were made after months of demos, conversations with users, and between us and our partners noted in this communication. We were very fortunate that our Paragon representative spent three days with us in October, whereby some 60 MLS users saw the Paragon improvements and gave us one message: they were impressed. We even put together a focus group of brokers large and small, agents from both states, large and smaller producers, ones that are involved in LSAR and those who aren’t – you name it. This group provided feedback that leveraging these types of features will serve users well. Thank you for all your hard work and input along the way. We are also excited to say that LSAR will add these offerings while maintaining a healthy and sustainable budget.

We will be making a larger announcement in the coming weeks, with more details on the implementation timeline of these new features. If you have any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact the office!

Paragon has been receiving quite a number of emails kicked back due to an invalid email address. They have put into place a solution to help eliminate these kickbacks.

If an email is kicked out, the system will automatically “opt out” this email address. The agent who sent the email will receive an email from ParagonMessaging that this email address is opted out. You must enter a valid email address before emails can be sent. Before you contact your client, we recommend you check the spelling of the email address you entered into Paragon.
